Online Data Systems

We've been collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data for the last two decades, because we believe strongly in data-based decision making. In addition to data we collect as a part of our own evaluation efforts, we also manage data for others.

Example

JMIS is a web-based data management system that allows juvenile detention centers to electronically submit data to the state, search for detained youth, and generate reports. Its success led to the Juvenile Justice Data Project (JWatch), which is an effort to create a web-based data management system of juvenile justice probation data for the 2nd Judicial Circuit in Illinois. JWatch is used to better manage and understand the juvenile offender population, identify appropriate services, and assess program effectiveness and system performance.
